At first my kids were looking at it weird, and then they tried it! They loved it and so did my hubby! I did use a whole package of bacon in mine. This has become on of recipes that is in our monthly menu. I love it because I always have these ingredients in the pantry. Excellent!

Ruby Red Layered Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
My late grandmother used to make something very similiar to this every holiday. It wasn't a holiday without it. The only difference was we used only Strawberry jello, frozen strawberries and bananas along with the crushed pinapples! Makes me miss Grandma!

OMG! If you are looking for a recipe to wow your friends for a dinner party, this is it! Excellent! The only change I will make next time is, instead of the sundried tomatoes, I will top with fresh diced up plum tomatoes at the end! Everyone will ask for the recipe no doubt!

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
Very, very good! I did reduce the flour portion to 1/4 cup and the cheese. Even reducing the cheese it was still on the cheesey side, but very good! I would go slow on the cheese until you find the mix that works for you. Going to pick up a load at Panera for some dipping!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2005
Very good! I used 1% milk and omitted the sour cream as the soup is thick enough. Also added about 1 extra cup of milk than required. Served in bread bowls!

Tuscan Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2004
One Word, FABULOUS!!! The only thing that I altered was, I took someone's advice and added a little more of the ev. milk and I do know that OG uses Kale, not spinach in there recipe, so I used 1/2 box of frozen kale and it came out perfect! Thanks for posting! A definte keeper!
