Better Than Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2013
I used 2 tsp of the premixed pumpkin pie spice instead of the individual spices.

Baked Spaghetti Squash with Beef and Veggies

Delicious! Was really good with the cheddar. Might also make again with mozzarella depending on what I have on hand.

Sausage Smothered in Red Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2013
We have made this recipe several times. I get red cabbage a lot with my CSA and was at a loss of what to do with it besides coleslaw. The kids (2 and 4) like it and it has even grown on my husband who grew up eating super spicy indian food. Its a winner for me. Not 5 stars because I dont go out looking for it but its a great meal when cooking with what you've got.

Chicken and Bok Choy Soup

Very good! I kept thinking I needed to add pepper or something but I didn't and it turned out great. My husband added sriracha to his though.

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
This turned out awesome! I made two batches. The first I added color while mixing and the second batch I added color during kneading. They both turned out great and it wasn't hard to add color during kneading like some reviews said. Use clear vanilla extract/flavoring if you want it to turn out white. Also use the shortening on the countertop and roller as others have said. I tried just powder sugar and it stuck badly. The shortening worked and didn't affect the fondant. This was my first time making fondant and it was so easy and turned out awesome!! Everyone gushed over how good it looked.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
Just made this recipe with no alterations but 1 cup of raisins. Very yummy and soft as promised. In fact, so soft that if you make them too big they will fall apart. Keep them on the small side and they're perfect. The only thing that has be wondering is why does everyone's cookies look so different in the photos?!

Dijon Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
We made these last night and they turned out really good! Nice flavor, not too mustard-y like I thought they might be. We used pork shoulder steaks since they were on sale.
