Mushroom Sauce Baked Pork Chops
i don't understand how this received such a high rating. This turned into a watery, disgusting, curdled mess, yet I followed the recipe exactly and made no changes. No-one would eat it, once they tasted it. I have made this before, but it was cooked in a frypan on the stove and only called for 1/2 cup of milk. It was delicious. I will never make this again.

Stewed Cabbage
My mother often made a polish dish that is almost the same: I cooked the bacon and drained all but 1-2TB of the bacon grease to cook the onion, (no celery) and then stirred in the chopped cabbage. I used 1 can of stewed tomatoes (with garlic and olive oil), salt and pepper, 1/2 tsp caraway seeds, 1/2 cup of salsa, 1 tsp each of sugar and vinegar and a large pinch of crushed red pepper, for extra flavour and bite. Bring to a simmer, add 1 lb smoked turkey meat, cut into chunks, and let it simmer over low heat for 45 min - 1 hr or until tender (Kielbasa is good too). We also add a little sour cream to top it, after serving. Yuuuuummmmmmmmyyy. It's very good over mashed potatoes.

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding
I have made this pudding many times and it's one of my family's favourites. I just finished making it again but this time I used half 1% DARK chocolate milk/half 2% white and it still set up without any problems and I even stirred in 1/4 Cup of semi-sweet choc. chips when I added the vanilla and butter. Then I had a taste but I didn't find it quite sweet enough (due to the semi-sweet choc. chips?) so I thoroughly stirred in 1 TB sugar and left it to set. It was a lovely dark chocolate flavour and I will make it like this again, perhaps using all choc. milk next time. Sometimes I add 1Tb Kahlua to the milk to make a richer flavour.
