Chiles Rellenos Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2006
This is really good. I also use like 4-5 cans of little diced chiles. I did not like the chicken and have made it several times without it. I also don't put the salsa on top, it is better that way.

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2006
We had guests over for St. Patricks Day. They all loved it, as did I. I did not follow the recipe exactly. I used the packet of spices that came with the roast instead of the bay leaves. I also did not add the parsley because it seemed like it was just for color, and I did not add the butter as it seemed the that juice was greasy enough. I cooked it in a crock pot for about 8 hours. I pulled out the roast and put it on a pretty dish with the vegetables and put it in the oven on a low temperature. I tried to cook the cabbage in the crockpot, but it took to long and we eventually just dumped it all into a stock pot with more water and let it boil for a few minutes until it was done. It was delicious. Everyone raved and had second. We will do this again next year. We ate it with Irish Soda Bread and limeade.

Orange Buttermilk Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
This was ok. It was not the normal jello salad. I liked how the jello set up with the buttermilk in it, that was pretty. But it was ok, nobody raved about it.

Fudgy Chocolate Fondue

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
This is very buttery. I let it cook in my fondue thing for quite a while and the butter turned into a lake of grease on the top. It tasted ok, but I think that just melted chocolate would better.

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
This was ok. My family loved it, but I thought that it was boring. I was expecting something more like fresh peach pie with a cream cheese accent. It was not.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
This was not that great. I thought it would be better with all the rave reviews. I think it gets better over time, but not that great. The cream filling is ok, just jellow pudding. It is just a really simple ok recipe.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
These were ok. They were not soft and squishy like I would have liked them. I dipped them in chocolate though and that makes anything better.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: May 5, 2005
So yummy and so easy. I make four really big enchiladas rather than six smaller ones. My husband loves these.

Hot Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: May 5, 2005
I love this recipe. Next time I make it, I think that I will add some jalapeno ranch dressing instead of mayonaise. I think that it needs a little heat. I made this for a wedding shower and put it on bagette bread. Everyone loved it.

Cookie Salad I

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2002
This is really good. The only problem is that I gave the recipe to my family members and now they make it ALL THE TIME, so I have gotten sick of it. But it is quick and easy and a real crowd pleaser. Not recommended for daily consumption.

Oaxacan Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2002
I loved this. My husband loved this. My friend loved this as well. She made it for all of her friends the next day. Very good. We cooked the onion and jalapenos with the meet and added the cilantro later. We also did not fry our flour tortillas, to much fat that way. But it was wonderful. I love cilantro, it makes everything better.

Alice Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2002
This is so good. I love the crunchy bacon on all of this together. I did not think that you need the honey lemon dressing. I had it on the side and did not like it, but it was wonderful besides that.

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2002
I thought that this was great. Very tender and juicy. I seared it first in a frying pan to keep the flavor of the meat in. I threw in the crockpot with the jar of pepperoncini's and went to school. When I came home, it had filled the house with wondeful smells. I had it with mashed potatoes and brocolli. YUMMY! My husband loved it too.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2002
I thought that this was a great recipe. My husband loved it. The sauce was a bit runny, so we added flour, next time will add corn starch when mixing in all spices. But I thought that it was excellent and will make it many more times.
