Greatest pie I ever made and I used a medium sized bag of frozen strawberries and a medium sized bag of frozen rhubarb. just rinsed them and mixed them with the flour and sugar. Forgot the butter but it's still great. I used milk instead of an egg yolk but it didn't brown as much as the photos on here. But it was not liquid at all after cooling for 6 hours and my house is very warm. I'll be keeping this recipe 4 ever. I used 1/3 of a package of a 1 kg or 2.2 pounds of store bought pie dough for a 9 inch pie. I'm lousy at making my own and can never roll it properly but this one made it easy to roll...and it's actually cheaper to buy it pre-made here .
