Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
These are the best cookies ever! I didn't even know that I could bake until I baked these. :)

Pumpkin Soup
I have had a 10-year-long craving for pumkin soup ever since I tried it on a cruise in 2001! I had been meaning to try and make it myself, but thought it would take too long. I finally tried it and it wasn't too hard afterall. I thought that the soup was delicious, although not *quite* as good as what I remember it being. I added some allspice, cinnimon, and nutmeg to this recipe, but I think that I might have gotten a little bit carried away on the amounts. To try and tone it down, I added more half and half. Unfortunately, my husband (who is lactose intolerant) got sick everytime he ate it. Oops! At least that meant more for me. :)

Baked Sweet Potatoes with Ginger and Honey
I really liked this recipe, as it was an alternative to the disgusting sweet potato casserole with the marshmallows on top. I loved the smell of the cardamom and, since I cut the amount of ginger in half as another reviewer recommended, it was a well-balanced flavor. I only gave the recipe 4 stars, because not everyone at Thanksgiving dinner liked it. For some reason, my dad kept calling it "chutney" and my brother said he liked the kind with the marshmallows better. Ugh.
