Black Magic Cake
I have made this cake several times now and it is just amazing! However, I did try something new which was a huge mistake. I substituted a little bit of buckwheat flour for two reasons, 1. because I needed to use it up and 2. because I try and be healthy once and awhile. Anyways, this was just terrible, really it was. If I have to give advise on anything, is to avoid the buckwheat flour in this. Not only am I the only one that is forced to eat and entire bundt size cake alone, I now have a husband who will not let it go. Thankfully I didn't attempt to serve my 'masterpiece' to guests. I'm not sure what is worse, forcing my toddler to eat it or the fact that my pregnant tastebuds actually like it. Super great recipe though, just stay away from the buckwheat!

All-Day Apple Butter
So I was given 25 lbs of apples from a friends orchard and didn't know what to do with it. I (my husband really) 10 lbs last night and did half apple butter and half applesauce. I LOVED this recipe so much that we peeled and cored the rest and am making a double batch tonight. I start the crock on low the night before, and in the morning I use my hand held blender to make it kinda chunky, left the lid off on low for 6 hrs and has the perfect consistency, everybody in the house loved it so we just had to make more.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing
I really enjoyed the fruit in this! I did omit the meat and I cut back on the sage A LOT! I'm not to much a sage person. I like the fresh tartness of the cranberries and apples. I did this a few years ago and every one enjoyed it but felt as though the sage was to much, so I changed a little bit and everyone LOVED it!!
