Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2014
Love this pasta dish! Only change I make is to use entire 28 oz., can of tomatoes. I do not drain as we like more sauce with our pasta. I simply pour can into large bowl and chop up the tomatoes in the bowl before adding. Another tip is to add additional red pepper flakes individually after serving for those who like it spicier...this way the children can enjoy as well!

Cocktail Meatballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2013
To make enough for a crowd, use a large bag of frozen mini meatballs. Pour them (frozen) into your crockpot, and in a separate bowl, mix a 32 oz., jar of grape jelly with 3 jars of Heinz chili sauce. When it is completely mixed, pour over meatballs and cover. Cook on low for 4+ hours. This takes a few minutes of prep, and it smells wonderful as your guests arrive!

Popovers

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2013
I have tried many recipes for popovers. This one seems to be the winner. They rise really tall, and they are nice and "eggy"! This is the only one I use now.

Apple Cranberry Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
This was so good! I doubled all the stuffing as well as the glaze. I had HUGE pork chops to fill. I covered and baked at 400 for 15 minutes and then took the cover off and baked for another ten. Perfect! Served with sugar snap peas and mashed potatoes. Will definitely add this to my recipe box!

Chicken and Gnocchi Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2013
We love this soup! Reading the ingredients, it doesn't seem like it would have a whole lotta flavor, but indeed it does! Make sure you get the mini gnocchi and not the larger ones, because they are way too big for this delicate soup. It is so yummy and even better the next day. Use the entire amount of spinach, as well. Enjoy!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
I use this recipe when I want to make large M&M bakery-style cookies. I double the recipe, add a large bag of M&M's instead of chips and double the amount I drop onto the parchment-covered cookie sheets. They bake beautifully and look just like the ones you'd find at the bakery!

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2012
I doubled the recipe and added sauteed chicken tenders (ripped up)at the last minute, and it was a meal. Very very good! Will definitely make again.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2012
My own meatloaf is Italian-style so I was eager to try someone else's. I thought it was really great. I followed the recipe exactly except I left out the Italian seasoning...thought the basil, oregano, and garlic would be enough and I was right. I followed other reviewers' recommendations and iced it with spaghetti sauce for the last 15-20 minutes along with some more mozzarella and parmesan (and a dash more garlic) The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not five, I missed the whole mushrooms and chopped vidalia onion I usually add to my Italian meatloaf sauce.
