Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2007
Awesome!! I did decrease sugar by 1/2 cup and on one batch used all applesauce for oil, on the other batch I used 1/2 oil with 1/2 applesauce. They both came out great. Definately a keeper. The strusel topping that other readers suggested is a nice change. Patti

African Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2007
Mushy, dry(not enough broth?) and way too spicy.I followed recipe to a "T" except no garbanzo beans, used chicken broth and 1/2 Cup peanut butter. Will not ever make this again and I tossed it in the composter. Sparrker

Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
Awesome!! I only used 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water with fresh peaches. It was perfect. I followed everyone else's recommendation of crumbling together the cream cheese and cake mix and then using melted butter on top. Definately will make this again.

Crab Salad

Yummm! Taste's just like the deli. Needs a little more mayo als. Tastes great with small shell macaroni of course you'll have to adjust the amount of mayo to your liking. Thanks Christine. Patti

Excellent cookies, nice and chewy. Definately make these again. Tried half of recipe with butterscotch chips and other half plain, and they taste great both ways. Awesome with a nice tall glass of cold milk. Drink milk!

I used a box brownie mix and it also came out great. Quicker and cheaper. I had alot of raves at the party we went to and a lot of requests for the recipe. Awesome. Definately a keeper. Thanks for supplying us with such a wonderful dessert.

Gingersnap Pumpkin Pie

It's O.k. Crust is soggy but edible. Needs more spices added to the filling. I prefer the flaky pie crust over this one.

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

Not worthwhile. Nestle TollHouse are much better. Tollhouse are soft and chewy, not these. These came out dry and I followed the recipe to a "T".

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2002
This bread was delicious. There are only two of us so three loaves was to much. I cut the dough in thirds like the recipe says and used two for bread, and the third for pizza dough. I spread it out on a pan greased lightly with shortening, and let it rest for about fifteen minutes. I put my toppings on and baked it for 30 min. at 375F or till the crust was browned. It was awesome. Definately use this again.
