Pumpkin Bread

Lobster Bisque

I made this recipe but was confused by the instructions, specifically the "2 Slices Onion". It seems as if onion is added at two different points, and I wasn't sure if it was two slices of onion or two onions sliced. Regardless, I used 1 1/2 medium/large onions and did the rest according to the directions and it tasted wonderful and probably could have used a little more cayenne. Thank you for the simple recipe!

Winter Root Vegetable Soup

I made this soup last night and although the terms used were imprecise, I found that it was a really good foundation to start from. I didn't have any turnips so I just put in more of the other vegetables. Like others I added some other spices & seasonings such as a couple cloves of garlic, some italian seasoning; it turned out really good! And I used fat-free milk but I don't think it even needed it. Also, my sister hates carrots and she even thought it was tasty! Thanks for the recipe. :)

Persimmon Brunch Cake

I liked the taste of this after I made it but the cook time is way too long in my opinion, either that or the bread/cake mix might be better if put into a rectangle bread pan instead of wide cake pan. I put the cake in for 40 minutes and now it is too dry, maybe 35 would be better?

Pumpkin Cheesecake in a Gingersnap Crust

This recipe was honestly amazing. It turned out great and I didn't want to share it with anyone. I don't think I changed anything except for the heavy cream, I didn't have any so I think I used condensed milk. Can't really remember but it was SO GOOD, and I got many compliments on it as well. Thank you for this recipe!!

Pocket Bread

Loved how the bread turned out, but I had to add an extra tsp or so of water because the dough was so dry. It really didn't DOUBLE in size but maybe it wasn't hot enough? I added a Tbsp of agave nectar to keep it vegan and add just a touch of sweetness. Again, thank you for the recipe! I am still excited about it. :)
