Broccoli Salad II

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2003
DELICIOUS! I love the sweet of the raisins and dressing with the sour of the bacon. This is a hit for pot-lucks. A great, cool way to have veggies in the heat of the summer.

Unbelievable Chicken

Easy and tasty. My husband actually wants to eat this chicken TWO nights in a row and this comes from a man who HATES leftovers.

Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
This is a GREAT cake. I added an extra glaze on top that I made with 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1 tbsp melted butter, 1 tbsp rum and water (enough to make this runny) which I then poured over the cake and spread evenly. Too much rum for the kids though, but that just leaves more for ME!

Gooey Butter Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
GREAT tasting and moist, but still not gooey like a Philly butter cake. This one should be called a cream cheese cake because cream cheese is the dominant flavor.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
This recipe was easy and tasted GREAT, but it cracked even after leaving it in the oven overnight. Maybe it was because the center did not bake after only an hour in the oven. I'll still try this one again because it tasted good, but maybe bake it longer in a water bath and then remove it from the oven to cool.

Amaretto Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2002
This recipe is to DIE for. I love amaretto to begin with and this cake was perfectly moist. I topped mine off with an amaretto glaze that I made with 1 cup of powdered sugar, 2 tbsp melted butter, a few drops of almond extract, a tablespoon of amaretto and enough water to make it pourable. I drizzled this over the top. YUMMY!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2002
This recipe is AWESOME! I've made several batches, all turning out perfectly chocolatey and creamy -- like fudge from the Jersey Shore! Not kid friendly only because no fudge is -- too hot when boiling. This is a keeper!

Easy Creamy Vanilla Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2002
Not creamy at all. I've been in search of a great vanilla fudge -- like from the Jersey Shore. This is NOT it. It tastes like hardened confectioner's sugar.
