Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2014
Delicious! I followed other reviewers advice and dipped each bread cub into softened (and slightly sweetened) cream cheese. I also reduced the eggs from 12 to 10. I think even 9 or even 8 eggs would work - I had a few "eggy" spots but we didn't mind. I did use a combo of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries (all I had) and it was wonderful!

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2014
This was ok, but I really think it could be great! I followed the recipe exactly and my cake seemed very dry. I'm am going to try some variations (less beans, more chocolate etc.) to see if I can't make this outstanding. If I am successful I will post a new recipe! -- 2/9/14 HA! Well I thought I followed it exactly but my bag of chocolate chips was 2 oz. less than most bags (which effected my measuring) and even after I discovered that; Something magical happened while the was in the fridge overnight... Chocolately perfection! The texture changed. It was indescribable. I ate the whole thing myself in about 5 days. I am about to make this amazing healthy dessert goodness for my kiddo to take to a birthday party at school. -- Treats need to be gluten-free the fact that they're made of (organic) garbanzo beans and are healthy will stay my little secret! I'm planning to dust with powered sugar and make a raspberry sauce to drizzle on. MMM! (I may have to make a second one for here at home). LOVE! LOVE! LOVE IT! Second time around I added a big pinch of salt and a tsp of vanilla in with the eggs. Made it even better

Avocado Smoothie

Reviewed: May 14, 2013
I loved this recipe. SO Simple! I substituted some chobani brand banana yogurt for the vanilla (its all I had) and used agave nectar instead of honey. I omitted the ice cubes b/c we didn't have any and it was still delicious! Great smoothie texture! I think I will try it again, but try a fresh banana instead of the yogurt!

Cranberry Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2012
I doubled the brown sugar. I even added half a cup of dark brown sugar, quadrupled the spices. I omitted the orange zest (I thought it would be great with out it and it was!) I made my own cranberry sauce with a package of fresh cranberries, 3/4 cup of water, Tablespoon of maple syrup, and some sugar on the stove. The bread was amazing!

Chocolate-Covered OREO Cookie Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
I love this recipe! This same recipe is in a magazine I received a few years back! Delicious! Instead of making the chocolate ganache, I made a cream cheese frosting and used this for my little girls birthday party. I had some trouble initially getting my top layer to be flush but after some strategic moving of some of the oreos in the filling, it looked great! I had all the moms and even a grandpa asking me for this recipe! 5 Stars!

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
One of the best cheesecakes I have made! I minced my apples and made a crumb topping with butter, flour and brown sugar. I poured half of the cheesecake batter into the pan and then swirled in some homemade apple butter! Absolutely fabulous!

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2012
Delicious. To up the nutritional value, I used 1 Cup Wheat Flour and 1 Cup White, after reading reviews that had done the same. I used 3/4 Agave Nectar instead of the White Sugar so cut out on the processed stuff. They were still sweet and tasty! Love this recipe.

Sweet Potato Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2012
Delicious. I used applesauce instead of oil and only added sugar to the sweet potatoes before baking them. It was moist, sweet and rich.
