Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
Wow - incredibly good! Get asked to make these all the time now...only problem is how long it takes to clean all the mushrooms (I always have to make multiple batches at a time). Thanks for the post!

Restaurant-Style Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
Yum! This soup was terrific. Used a half cup of heavy cream, and crumbled sweet italian sausage with some red pepper flakes. Also, drained the bacon and kept only ~1tsp of grease to cook the onions. This soup is incredibly good!

Hard Rock Candy

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
Terrific - and very easy to make! I lined a jelly roll pan with aliminum foil, and didn't use the powdered sugar. The candy turned out so pretty! I made mine with orange extract, and the flavor was good but not strong enough; since there isn't much oil in an extract, will double the amount I add next time.

Chocolate Caramels

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2005
Not good. Not good at all. Some fault is my own - I recommend using an 8x8 or 9x9 pan instead of a jelly roll pan (my attempt - the recipe doesn't specify) to make the caramels thick. But also, the recipe turned out very buttery - too much so in my family's opinion.

Marinated Rosemary Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2005
This was delicious! Definitely let the chicken marinate as long as you can, for the flavor to really get into the chicken.

Pumpkin Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2005
Made this as a Thanksgiving appetizer a few years ago for my somewhat picky family. Once I convinced a few people to try "that orange stuff", they ate it all up, and ask for it every year! Served it with molasses cookies and apple slices. I normally leave out the OJ, and add the spices "to taste", depending on how old they are.
