Restaurant Style Egg Drop Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
This recipe tasted exactly like the local Chinese restaurants egg drop soup. Outstanding! I will definetly make again. I need to practice getting the egg cooked to the consistancy that we like.

BLT Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
I have made this receipe twice, and both times it was the first thing gone! My sister in law is also now making it to rave reviews. After reading some of the reviews, I can tell you that I just microwave the bacon or buy the real bacon bits. Both work! Also, it is a must that you use a REAL tomato, not canned. I will continue making this over and over! DELICIOUS!!!!

Pepperoni Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2003
I found this recipe to be very salty. Next time I would try low sodium mushroom soup and unsalted crackers. However, some of my guests couldn't get enough of it and even took home the leftovers.

Fresh Pear Cake

Reviewed: May 29, 2003
Very good. I baked it in a 9x13 instead of a bundt pan, for approximately 45 minutes. It tastes like Nana's Apple Cake mix from Tastefully Simple. I will be making this again very soon.

Simple Baked Apples

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
These are very simple and taste great. The house will smell yummy also when cooking. I do not use the raisens and use 2% milk instead of whole milk and it turns out great. It is a very big hit served over vanilla ice cream.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
Really easy and really simple. It blows away any store bought brand in taste. My husband even said it tasted better than Olive Garden's alfredo sauce.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
This one is a keeper. I received rave reviews from the family with this one. The turkey comes out moist and taste delicious. My only recomendation is to cover the turkey with aluminum until the last 45 minutes of cooking. The olive oil made it brown to quickly the 1st time I made it. This is the only recipe for turkey I've tried that the turkey comes out of the oven looking like a picture in a magazine. It makes a beautiful Thanksgiving table.

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
This was outstanding. I did make some changes. I used crushed red pepper (all I had), I omitted the cinnamon and green chilies (I do not like the taste) and instead of the white beans I used mild chili beans. I also took other advice and only used about 1 15oz. can of chicken broth. That was the real clincher on the taste. It was wonderful. I would definetly make it again and again. Even my 2 year old ate it and wanted more.

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
The recipe has way to much coconut. Next time I would add only half that it calls for. Otherwise it's a very good Hawaiian Salad, my grandmother couldn't get enough.

Great banana recipe. I made it in a 9x13 pand and it came out great. It was very yummy with the cream cheese frosting I made to go with it.

These were very yummy! Next time though I might try boiling them instead of baking them to see if they come out more moist.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2002
WONDERFUL COOKIES! I used low-fat chocolate pudding instead of vanilla and only 12 oz. of semi-sweet chips and they turned out terrific. Everyone that has tried them wants the recipe. My sister thinks they taste and feel more like brownies than cookies. Superb cookie!
