About this Cook
I'm in my late 20s, married, happily. I live in a very small town with easy access to fresh produce, eggs and various necessities.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking cookies. I've also a fondness for Indian style curry dishes.
My cooking triumphs
I baked and assembled a delicious Croquembouche with my mother last year.
My cooking tragedies
Two years ago, my taste was "off". I was making Chili, and put in a bit too much brown sugar. This caused the Chili to have a sickly sweet flavor, everyone was unhappy.

Cream Cheese Frosting II
The recipe is fairly easy and basic, it has a great cream cheese flavor and blended well. However, the issue comes with the texture, creamy and delicious stand-alone does not translate well to a topping. This must be kept cold, at room temp it is far too soft and doesn't hold shape. This recipe would be a perfect cupcake or pastry filling, in fact, I froze the leftovers for Christmas pastry fillings. Even though it will make a five star filling, it's just a two star frosting. Pros: Great flavor, creamy texture, simple to prepare. Cons: consistency, texture, stability at room temp.

Vanilla Glaze
Perfect for spice cake and very delicious. I think I want to add extra almond flavor next time.

Christmas Cake
Fantastic recipe! This came out perfect, everyone in my family was obsessed with it at Christmas last year. I just thawed the portion I'd frozen to enjoy over the summer and it still tastes amazing. (I soaked my fruit overnight in brandy btw)
