Easy to Remember Pie Crust

Super easy!! Needs a pinch of salt. I live in Miami where it is always humid. I only needed to use 1/2 of the water. Perfect texture. Definitely will be my crust recipe from now on.

Pressure Cooker Carnitas

These Carnitas were awesome!!! The only change I made was to omit the spicy peppers and made it with red and green bell peppers. Wow!!! What flavor. Thanks for the best carnitas I have ever had.

Easy Recipe. Followed all the way through. Added frozen raspberries, which I should have altered how much liquid I added. Dough came out a little to wet & sticky, but nothing I couldn't fix with a little extra flour. Scones came out perfect, really tender and nice. I'll never buy dried out scones at Starbuck's again. I'll bring my own.

Gingerbread Cookies

I made this recipe as written. I bumped up the spices because I like spicy gingerbread cookies. The dough was super sticky, very difficult to roll and cut out. I ended up making drop cookies instead. They turned out great. I liked the flavor and soft, chewy texture. Next time I have to remember to cream the shortening and sugar before adding the other wet ingredients. I think that'll help with the stickiness and difficulty working with the dough.

Belgian Waffles

These are the best waffles I have ever had!! I used to make waffles from mix, and always thought there has to be a better waffle out there. This recipe is tops. Taste like restaurant/brunch waffles, crispy outside, tender, fluffy inside. I followed the recipe to the letter. My only change was I couldn't make the waffles immediately, so after my batter had risen I stirred it a bit and put it in the fridge until I could make the waffles. 15 hours later and a second rise I had heaven on a plate.
