Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
my stepmother of 15 years is filipina and she makes an AMAZING adobo! this was no where close, partly my fault i'm guessing... waaaay too salty, still edible, but way too salty!

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
this was my first attempt at pot roast, and i have to say it was pretty good... didn't knock my socks off, but it was good. i tried to follow the other reviews saying it was too dry and added more water, along with a dash of worchester and a splash of soy sauce. turned out good.

Alysia's Basic Meat Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
very easy to follow. i followed other reviewers advice by adding some italian sausage, but seeing as how sausage isn't a favorite of mine, i'm going to leave it out next time. the only problem i found was it was a little runny, maybe after soaking the noodles for a few minutes, i'll let them dry on a towel next time. all in all, very good basic recipe to tweak to my liking!

Easy Alfredo Sauce I

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
very good and very easy. i especially like this because it's inexpensive, i don't know why i ever spent money on the jars. the only thing i didn't like was the leftovers were very greasy from all the butter... maybe less next time. but a good base recipe.

Slow Cooker Parsley Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
absolutely delish! the chicken was super tender and oh so yummy! i used boneless skinless chicken breasts and left out the butter. other reviews said it was too salty, so i used half the soy sauce and left out the salt. i didn't have red potatoes, but used baking potatoes, and they worked just as well. the potatoes seemed to soak up all the soy sauce because that was the saltiest part of the whole dish. but all in all, it was still amazing. leaving off one star because of the saltyness and there didn't seem to be enough "gravy".

Beer Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
so juicy, so delicious, melt in your mouth heaven burgers! i used 2lbs of ground chuck and 1/2 cup of beer. after forming the patties, i sprinkled them with steak seasoning and let it sit in the fridge for 30 mins. top it all off with pickles, bacon, lettuce and tomato... to die for!
