Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2014
This was really delicious!! I did cut the soy in half, used a squirt of sirracha for the heat, and floured the chicken pieces before browning, but otherwise prepared the recipe as written. I feel that if I had used all the soy called for, it would have been much too salty for my tastes. I also used reduced sodium soy. The whole family loved it. Thank you for sharing. I will be making this again!!

Quick Hoppin' John Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2013
This soup was easy and really delicious. I used a 32 oz box of low sodium chicken broth, 1 1/2 cups water to account for 4 oz more chicken broth, low sodium tomatoes, and a 4 1/2 oz wild/long grain rice mix with seasoning. The sausage and rice mix had enough sodium, that using everything else low sodium was perfect for our family tastes. Also, the 4 1/2 oz rice mix was plenty for the soup. There was not a lot of excess broth. I will definitely make it again! Thank you.

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
Truly the best pancakes ever! I followed the recipe exactly except for only letting the batter sit for 1/2 hour, and adding vanilla to the wet ingredients. This will be my go to pancake recipe! Thank you.

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
REALLY good... used 2 cups of blueberries and used 1/2 a recipe in a 9x9 pan. Also, since the blueberries were very sweet I cut the sugar in half, and I thought the sweetness was perfect. Thank you...I will be making this with peaches tomorrow!

Lori's Spicy Chipotle Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
Truly amazing lasagna! I used all sweet Italian sausage and no ground beef, omitted the zucchini and used 2# fresh mozzarella. Received rave reviews to a group of foodie guests. Thank you for the recipe!

Pumpkin Wheat Honey Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
I changed the 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour to 3/4c whole wheat flour and 3/4 cup ground flax seed. I also reduced the honey to 1/4 cup, and added only a single quick shake of salt. The muffins were moist, plenty sweet for me, and had a nice nutty flavor. I've made them several times and they are always moist and delicious! Thank you for the recipe.
