Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: May 20, 2015
After people at work started arguing over these, my husband offered to build a fighting pit. We could put the tray of these in the center and sell tickets for charity as people fought for the pan. The recipe I use calls for 1 egg with the cheese and no honey, but I don't think there's a way this wouldn't be remarkable with any variation. Seriously, try this.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed: May 17, 2015
Awesome. Think of a reece's peanut butter cup with flour. This recipe is a little high effort, but our 6 year old helped with the balls and flattening. It isn't hard, just time consuming. But with the reviews other people gave me and the fight that nearly broke out over the last two, very worth it.

Very good. Fluffy, a hit even with the people reluctant to try.

The Big Apple Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
Thank you so much for posting this! I was flitting through the net trying to find something like my mother's recipe and this is exactly it. Even though "mom" always made the best because it is what we grew up with, it really is the perfect pure apple pie recipe.

Cranberry Yogurt Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
It's a good recipe. I used dried cranberries and added most of a can of peaches. I changed the orange peel to cinnamon and the flour to 1 cup of all purpose flour and 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour and had to use strawberry yogurt because that's all I had. Only had to cook for 15 minutes and were perfect. Very much recommended.

Pumpkin Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
While a hair dry, these cookies were the only thing my gluten-intolerant mother ate for desert on thanksgiving. Some gluten-intolerant people can be deterred from deserts by all the necessary substitutions that make them a bit too far from the original. However, these were just regular old cookies to Mom, and that made the holiday for us. Thank you so much!

Southern Gal Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
this is very light and delicate, not what a breakfast biscuit should be. Not bad, but not good either. Might be good with a light soup, but just not hearty. sorry

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
Holy cow this is good! given: I've never had a read apple dumpling before but my sweet tooth really liked it! Used that real sugar Sierra Mist instead and took someone else's advice to use brown sugar for a third of the sugar and came out fantastic. My very full husband started to take it away from me after one bite. Suddenly there was room!

Honey Pull-Apart Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
Great flavors! I didn't do the glaze because the filling was sweet enough for me. Used fresh oranges for the peel and juice - made the house smell fantastic! However, not easy. I screwed up and didn't separate into two and the dough was too soft; the filling burst out in one spot. But even with these little oopsies, it still salvaged out great. A mark of a great flavored recipe!
