Cakes In A Cone

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
def fill at least 2/3 to 3/4 or you dont have anything to frost. Also, cook at 350 for 15-18min or they overcook. tried with batter in cone and batter in cupcake holder with cone on top, by far the batter directly in cone upright is the most moist and comes out perfect!!!! used reg frosting not choc chips, thanks!!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
marinade somewhat overpowered the great tasting fish, if you love simple salmon for it's natural flavor then this recipe is not for you.

Fancy Fruit Pizza

great end result.... IF YOU LET SET IN FRIDGE OVERNIGHT to let flavors meld. Only gave 4 stars b/c the crust is such a pain to roll out and the recipe is quite time consuming for the end product, would make again for a special occassion

Baklava

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
AMAZING!!! The final product looked & tasted as if I had been cooking greek dishes my entire life! Everyone raved about it, no leftovers, first to go at a family party! TIP: i thought there was a LOT of honey mix when pouring at the end so I held back at least 1/4, next time I will pour the entire amt although it seems excessive. The recipe isn't as sweet as it seemed and could use the entire liquid to really give it the exact sweatness/moistness. THANK YOU!!!!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
Awesome flavor, great recipe... EXCEPT the fish does not need to be cooked for 35-45 mins, 350 oven for 20-25 mins is sufficient couldn't imagine cooking for another 20mins it would be ruined. otherwise will cook again came out great with lower cook time

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! tips: added 4 chicken boullion cubes, italian spices, garlic powder, basil, pepper, cumin, & chicken rub. Only used 1/2 the amount of biscuits. Timing needs to be adjusted for the dumplings... ADD @ 4.5HRS AND cook for total of 6HRS or they will not be done!!! My new favorite recipe!!!!!

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
great recipe, entire family had seconds. Changes I made: beef/veal/pork mixture, add garlic, italian seasoning, worcestershire sauce to mixture (def needs spices, salt & pepper), if you use all the mustard you wont have it taste as sweet, if you 1/2 the mustard it will be a little too sweet, def. double the sauce mixture!!! This one's a keeper!
