Lobster Newburg

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
OMG this was FANTASTIC! We added flour instead of egg yolks and smoked paprika instead of cayenne. I'm thinking about using milk next time just to see what kind of sauce I get I think it will be similar just not as fattening.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
This was great, I browned the chops with a little flour dredge seasoned with ginger, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Next time I plan on making a roux and thickening up the remaining marinade/glaze into a dipping sauce for the pork.

Mozzarella Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
If I don't use Italian bread crumbs then I add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder. I sub minced onion for sauteed shallots.

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
First off I hate pork chops but these were so delicious I ate one and a half, my whole family raved and wants to use the glaze on ribs next time. I dredged the pork in flour and browned on both sides so the sauce would get a little thicker as it cooked just like suggested by other reviews, cooked for 50 minutes and the pork was perfect! Also seasoned pork w/salt,pepper, onion and garlic powder and added sauteed shallots to the sauce.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
This makes the best batter if you're looking for a Chinese rest. style sweet and sour chicken. With the dipping sauce I also add a dash of soy sauce and pineapple and cook a little longer to get some more thickness and I have a rule about adding dry ingredients to wet so I added the cornstarch before the water and made a roué first than made the sauce.
