Great recipe, wonderful texture! My suggested alterations: brown the butter on the stove instead of melting it in the microwave. Browned butter increases the depth of flavor and adds a distinctive nuttiness. Use 1 tsp ground sea salt (I use a mortal & pestle to keep the flakes large) and use a combo of milk, white & semi-sweet chocolate chips. The extra salt nicely offsets the sweetness of the milk & white chips. Walnuts are a good addition, too, but keep the chips & nuts to slightly less than 2 cups.
