I think I left the chicken in a little too long because it was slightly mushy. Still, it tasted great. It was hot enough to leave my nose running for awhile. I did put the chicken on round rolls, but it was too messy to pick up, and I had to eat it with a fork.
I made it again with 3 large fresh breasts. After 4 1/2 hours it was ready to shred, so I shredded it best I could and let it soak for another hour. This time put it on sub rolls and added coleslaw. Fantastic! I plan on making this for a Superbowl party, putting it on sub rolls and adding lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese. Tastes just like wings but so much easier to make!
Also, Franks makes a cayenne pepper sauce. After shredding, I added a little of this since I like it pretty spicy.
