Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
This is so good! I cut the onions in thin strips and the same with the peppers. I also bought a bag of small sweet peppers that came in red, orange and yellow and cut some of them up with a small green pepper. Also s pince of red pepper flakes. It was very colorful and festive!

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
This recipe is very versatile. As written it’s a great base. I season the chops with smoked paprika for great color, garlic powder, smoked salt and pepper and brown it well. Remove meat and sauté onions and mushrooms. Remove from pan. Deglaze the pan with white wine and stir in soup and some milk. Add the juice that has drained from the meat, more garlic powder and a little more smoked salt and pepper, then stir in some sour cream. Mix well and add mushrooms, onions and meat. Simmer till tender. Goes over potatoes, rice or noodles! Nice with biscuits and butter. Also works with strips of chicken, steak or hamburger.

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
I wasn't sure how well this would work but I was amazed how good this was and my family loved it! I was worried that my oven was cooling off to fast but the roast came out perfect! I did marinate it over night in a little red wine and garlic but I don't think that was what made it so good. This will be the only way I make Eye of Round. Tender, juicy and so easy!
