I started cooking wheb i was 15 at a restaurant/ movie theatre. Dinner and a movie in the same place. Basic cooking though. Differebt burgers and sandwiches, specialty salads, pizzas, fried foods. That sparked it for me. I tried to create recipes out of what we had. After that I just kept on going. I am now in the Air Force and love cooking for friends and family I meet. I take pride in my cooking and people say it shows.
My favorite things to cook
I am fasciated by mediterranean, french, and italian cooking. No doubt that these are my favorites to try and pursue. I am great with breakfasts. I am also good with mediterranean and italian cuisine and have been pushing my self to more and more complex dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I dont have too many family cooking traditions. Alot of my family has just lately seen my potential. so grandmas recipes are just now making it to me. ?My dad makes a killer salsa every sunday for the Packer games and I was blessed with this recipe to share with my georgia friends.
My cooking triumphs
i made a sherry apple chicken dish compliments of Allrecipes, i hate going by someoe elses recipe step for step so i winged it, and it turned out fabulous. One other highlight was Italian crusted pork chops with raspberry sauce, risotto and a tasty tomato parmesan bruschetta. Thanks to my lovely sidekick we made a dinner that our family will never forget.
My cooking tragedies
Sushi.....OOOOoohhh sushi. Still have nightmares about that one.
