I make the best fish tacos. Also made these amazing marinated flat iron steaks, with grilled goat cheese stuffed bell peppers.

Whenever I grill, I tend to forget about having something out there, and will run out there to find charred remains of my food. :-(

Aunt Bert's White Cake
I just finished making this cake. I followed the directions EXACTLY as written. It did not rise at all. I opened up brand new soda and baking powder. I don't know what went wrong. My cake fell completely apart, so I was eating the pieces to see what it tasted like, and the first thing was cornbread. It wasn't horrible, but I feel it lacked flavor. I took a piece over to my husband, and asked him what he thought it tasted like, and he said cornbread also. So tomorrow I have to find another recipe. :-(

Grandma Sal's Peach Kuchen
I just made this last night! I had fresh sweet peaches that when you bite into them, the juices run down your face, so I cut the sugar down to only 1/3 cup. It was perfect! I don't like overly sweet desserts, but it was just right. I did use the natural sour cream instead of the heavy cream, because of the cost. It turned out great. I would like to try it again with the cream to see if there is any difference. I also loved how fast this came together! thanks for a new yummy recipe!

Grilled Bell Peppers with Goat Cheese
Could I give this 7 stars!!! Oh. my. Heaven. I made these for a dinner party, for I had picked a bushel of green peppers at a farm, and needed to use them up. They were the first things gone, and I could have eaten them all. My steaks were still on the grill and so we were just eating all the sides, and my guests said that they were so good they could've had these for the main course! They were tangy with the goat cheese, and the tart lemon pepper with the charred grilled pepper was to die for. I made them again for a friend and her husband, and he liked them so much, he mentioned putting the steak inside and making a pepper steak sandwich! Make them, you will love them!
