Absolutely wonderful. Whole family enjoyed. The only thing I did different was not to add the fresh lime juice. Will definitely make again and again.

Beef Tips

Instant family favorite! I have made this several times and it's always a big hit. We serve it over homemade mashed potatoes with hot buttered rolls. The only thing I alter is to use reduced-sodium soy sauce AND reduced-sodium Brown Gravy mix. And I omit the salt called for in the recipe. Otherwise its just too salty. I do use 2 packets of gravy with 1+1/2 c water. Turns out perfect every time.

Applesauce Bars

Delicious & Moist. I added a handful of chopped pecans and used a ready-made cream cheese frosting. The frosting was too sweet and should have been drizzled lightly on top rather than spread on like a cake. My 10-yr old boy requested I add raisins next time instead of the pecans.

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

This was delicious. However I did not do the final step of baking the dish. Still we had to eat it quickly because it dried out so fast. I did use fresh sliced mushrooms (which I sautéed in butter) rather than canned, and I omitted the sherry. Needed a bit of salt & pepper at the end. Overall: a little dry, but tasty.

Creamy Beef Stroganoff

This was fantastic! Every bit was gobbled up, even by a 4 yr old. I did think 1/3 c flour was excessive and made it too thick and pasty rather than saucy. Next time I will decrease the amount of flour. But the overall flavor was great. I did chop and sauté 3 large mushrooms to top the dish. This recipe is an instant family favorite.
