Quick and Easy Mexican Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
This is a super easy recipe that doesn't require many ingredients or time and still manages to taste great! It doesn't take too long and feeds quite a few servings. Great chicken dish!

Lemon Squares I

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
This recipe is great! I kept all of the measurements the same and the taste turned out just right. My only problem may have to do with my oven, but 35 minutes made the outside of the squares a tiny bit brown and a little hard. Other than that they were so good!

Carrot Cake Oatmeal

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
This recipe is very delicious, I love carrot cake and this is exactly what carrot cake oatmeal should taste like. All the ingredients compliment each other very well and I definitely recommend this recipe especially if you are busy most mornings, you can make one batch and it will last you a couple of mornings!

Spicy Eggplant

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
Very delicious. I followed the recipe pretty closely only I didn't have the chili garlic sauce which I'm sure would have given it even more of a kick. Instead I added some cayenne and cumin and man this dish is delish!

Brownie Pudding

This recipe turned out great! I followed everything except I used just 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 of brown sugar. Other than that this brownie pudding was scrumptious!

Berry Crisp

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
One word: delicious!!! I followed this recipe almost exactly for my mother's day treat (except I used some frozen fruits because I didn't have fresh but I still used raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries) and it was amazing. I am definitely going to make this again. I liked that it didn't use butter too. The honey and apple juice concentrate were just the right amount of sweet.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
It was deliciouuuuus! I used yogurt instead of sour cream and used 1 cup of mashed bananas and wheat flour instead of all purpose, and I used 1/2 cup white sugar along with 1/2 cup brown sugar, and it turned out amazingly! Very moist but in a good way and sweet but not too sweet.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
These were delicious! I just made them and made a few changes but they were excellent! I used 3/4 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar and used wheat flour instead of all purpose and they are a little crispy on the outside and filled with melted chocolatey goodness on the inside. Definitely recommend!

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
This was absolutely delicious! We only used about 3/4 cup brown sugar to lower the sugar level but everything else we did exactly and it was fantastic! We had it with some french vanilla ice cream and that is definitely a good companion to this dish. This dish is tasty and easy to make and I will definitely be making it again soon!

Honey-Oat Pan Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
These rolls turned out great! I'm a beginner at baking breads and rolls, pretty much anything with yeast, but these were very novice friendly. I did 1/8th cup honey and 1/8th cup agave nectar because I didn't have enough honey but it turned out splendid! I definitely recommend this recipe

These were so good! i used sweet and spicy mustard instead and used a variety of spices like paprika, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, etc instead of the old bay. I used bread crumbs instead of crackers and it was delicious!

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This lasagna was pretty delicious. I followed the recipe pretty closely and it turned out to be a little runny so I would suggest using less tomato pasta sauce. But it was really good otherwise! Also, we added a touch of basil which was also very tasty.

Sun-Dried Tomato Hummus

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
This is definitely the best hummus I've made so far. Instead of sun dried tomatoes though I used diced chili style tomatoes and added about a 1/3 cup of onion and used kept half of the garbanzo bean juice from one of the cans. It was superb!

Hummus III

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I love hummus and this is a good recipe. I read some earlier reviews and I also used some of the garbanzo bean juice and added some red peppers and chili oil and it tasted great. Oh and only about a 1/4 of tahini. Otherwise a delicious recipe!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
This is definitely a good veggie burger and one of the best I've ever had! Went well with homemade sweet potato fries too. Followed the recipe pretty close but I definitely agree that you should add more bread crumbs and oats to hold it together. I believe we used a 1/2 cup of bread crumbs and a 1/2 cup of oats and it held perfectly. Great recipe!
