Wow! This is delicious. I used my bread machine on the dough setting (1.5 hrs) and used 3.5 cups of bread flour. I still proofed the yeast before putting the ingredients in the machine. This made the PERFECT dough. I grilled the flattened dough on a grill pan with olive oil and brushed each side with melted butter mixed w/garlic powder. Make sure to keep an eye on the dough when grilling -- it goes quick! Thank you so much for this recipe, it's much better than store bought.

Delicious! It tastes like the smoothies that you pay $5 for in the mall. Finally we know the trick!

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

love this salad! I used rice vinegar instead of white wine vinegar and it turned out great (I didn't have any white wine vinegar).

French Toast Casserole

This recipe was great for using up slightly stale bread that somehow always accumulates. We only had three eggs instead of four; I think the fourth egg could have done a lot of good. Overall good recipe, I'll have to try it again.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Very good sugar cookies for frosting, not so awesome by themselves. This cookies stay relatively fresh for a long period of time (over a week) which was great for Christmas cookies. I like that they aren't very sweet by themselves, because a lot of sugar cookies taste literally like a lot of sugar. Not in this case, which I enjoyed.

These just didn't work out for me. Maybe I was tired, maybe it was late, but I just didn't click with this recipe.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Great recipe! Be sure to watch the bread as it bakes, I never knew it could brown so quickly! I use day-old bread discounted from a local sandwich shop and it makes this recipe just delicious.

Restaurant Style Egg Drop Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Tastes like restaurant egg drop soup, just looks a little bit creepier. I was scared to try this, but it seemed to work out fine. I cut down the salt a little and used freeze dried chives instead of fresh. Good recipe for those who already enjoy egg drop soup (newbies might be nervous to try this).

Vegetarian Penne

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
This was a big hit with my parents and my fiance. I didn't have squash or zucchini so I used broccoli and tomatoes instead. I also didn't have heavy whipping cream so I followed the advice of other people and just put in some extra cheese in the sauce. This is a great recipe!
