Banana Bread

I made these today and jsut took my first bite and they are pretty darn good! I made them into muffins. The only thing different that I did do was used half brown half white sugar and added skor toffee bits to it! yummy! Thanks for an awesome recipe! :)

Potato Pancakes

I made these tonight! Very easy to make, I thought I doubled the batch but had to add another two eggs and they cooked up just beautiful and actually stayed together! I used my food processor to shred the potatos and onions then I squeezed it all out by hand (really need to invest in some cheesecloth!) For a husband who is not too fond of potato pancakes, he said these were the best he has had!! Thank you for an awesome recipe! This is a definate keeper! :)

Amish Breakfast Casserole

I made this yesterday for our Christmas breakfast. WOW! It was soooo good. I followed the recipe and the only thing I changed really was added more cheese and even cottage cheese...well really I didn't even measure any of the cheeses but it WAS more than asked for. Oh and the other thing I did do differently is that I made it all the night b4 (I didn't thaw the hashbrowns which I used small diced hashbrown only becuz Christmas eve they didn't have much of a selection) and threw it in the oven in the morning! It was the best breakfast casserole I have ever had! I will be making this often! Thank you for an awesome recipe!!! I used the little bit that was leftover this morning. I heated it up, buttered a crusty bun and heartedly spooned it on and made a sandwich. Another great breakfast!!!! Again thank you!!

Chocolate Covered Cherries

THIS is what I have been searching for! I haven't tried it yet but I have some maraschino cherries soaking in brandy as I type awaiting for the perfect recipe ot make chocolates with! I usually just drain them, let them dry then dip them in chocloate. While they are good just like that Ive been wanting to find a nice creamy center to add to it! Unfortunately the store did not have the stemmed ones so I bought the ONLY kind they had. But I have a chocolate mold perfect for cherry type candies. I will fill the mold with the chocolate, let it harden, add some of the dough inside add the cherry and add more dough to secure the cherry nicely then cover the bottom with chocolate. This way too should take care of the leaky bottom problem! Will post results when I make these! :)

Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have been searching fo new cookie recipes to replace my old ones. For one I wanted better cookie recipes, and another, I lost all my old recipes! Anyways, I found this one and decided to try them. I made them and baked them all within 45 minutes cuz my meeting started in 45 minutes. I burnt my fingers taking them off the pan onto a plate and rushed over to my meeting. The cookies disappeared! Fast! A sign of a keeper! :D The only different thing I did was I used chocolate pudding mix! Turned out so yummy but crispy throughout! Will try less pudding mix next time! The box I had was larger than asked for BUT the smallest one sold. Thanks for a great recipe!!
