Best Brownies

5/12 Update - Made these brownies again, but substituted 1/2 cup mashed avocado for the butter. WOW!!! A little fluffier than the original, but still just as delicious. A great healthy alternative. Made this recipe last night, as written. The brownies were good hot from the pan, but they were amazing when they cooled. They were chocolaty and chewy like a brownie should be. I tried not to over mix it, but it was a little difficult getting the wet and dry ingredients to mix. I will definitely be making these again, since I always have the simple ingredients on hand.

No Bake Cookies III

My favorite recipe for no bakes just got a little better. I substituted Nutella for the peanut butter. WOW!!! So yummy!

Taffy Apple Salad

Loved it. Made it according to the recipe, and it was great. My daughter ran to grab a bowl after I gave her a taste. May try some of the other reviewers suggested changes next time just to taste the difference.

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Made this with only one small change: 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond extract. Still had a wonderful almond flavor. It was so good! We had it gone in a day. Made it again the other day. I didn't have enough cranberries, so I added chopped strawberries and apples so that I had 2 cups. Cut down the butter to 3 TBS and added 5 TBS of orange juice, and used only vanilla extract. Just as good as the original. Will keep and use both variations. Going to try it in mini muffin pan next time.

Sweet Polish Sausage

This my new favorite way to use polish sausage. I took the advice of another reviewer and substituted pineapple juice for the water. I also added the drained pineapple, and a bag of frozen peppers and onions. I put it all in the crockpot on low for 3-4 hours. Served over rice, it was a huge hit.
