Kevin's Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
Wonderful! Made the recipe as is and it was absolutely delicious. We made extra so we'd have leftovers for salads, etc.. and even put 2 pork chops in the marinade. Hubby liked them equally as much. I'll have to try mine later because I couldn't stop eating the chicken! Oh, and I only was able to marinade mine for 5 hours - still great! Please make sure you use fresh ground ginger... the spice from a jar won't work nicely in my opinion. Definitely a keeper!

French Baguettes

Easy, delicious, and all you ever wanted in a french baguette recipe. You do not need a bread machine! Follow the measurements and times required to rise.. Your bread will turn out perfect!

Black Bean Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
Wow... I absolutely love the ease of this recipe.. not to mention the amazing taste! I used Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips and sprinkled chopped walnuts on top (which was the only change I made!). I do have a tip - the texture and taste is 100% BETTER when completely cooled. I was not too impressed when first tasting them fresh out of the oven. Sneaking a bite the next morning with coffee.... heaven. A+!

Best of Everything Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
These are absolutely the BEST veggie burgers I have ever had. I totally recycled my other recipe! I made only two minor changes - I did not have any mushrooms and didn't feel like running to the store. We didn't miss them at all. I also only added one egg - I thought the consistency was perfect without adding another. This recipe ended up making 8 burgers, just the perfect size for our whole wheat buns, and am planning on freezing the remaining six. My husband and I give these a super thumbs up and can't wait until they are dinner again!

Hearty Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
I love this soup! I made it on a cold night when I wasn't feeling well and it made everything better! I made only a few changes - instead of using V-8 I added 1 can of tomato sauce and about 3 cups of water. I also added a chicken bouillon cube because it tasted like it needed a little more salt. I omitted the leek, simply because I didn't have one. I also added about 1 1/2 cups frozen cut-leaf spinach. Very tasty!! I also did not add the rice, and didn't miss it at all. The soup was very thick, more like a stew. My boyfriend and I loved it!
