Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup

This was great. We didn't puree and it was nice as a stew. We used better than bullion because we had it. Everything else in the recipe we followed. Served with Dave's Killer Bread and Trader Joes Creamline plain yogurt.

French Onion Soup Gratinee

I made this vegetarian by using Frontier beef flavored and chicken flavored broth powder. It turned out great! I made my own crusty bread to top it off out of the book Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day. I used swiss, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Broken Thermostat Curry

This was pretty good. It was missing something so I added a bit of salt and some raisins from Trader Joe's (jumbo raisin medley). I served this with a seared salmon curry dish from this site, homemade naan from this sire and tofu/garbanzo beans with a masala sauce and mango chutney. yum yum

Mediterranean Potato Salad

This is wonderful! My kids thought it was too strong but my husband and I loved it. Lots of flavors. Would make a great potluck recipe. I used a mixed bag of potatoes from Trader Joes that had a combo of purple, red and white potatoes. It looked lovely with all the colors of the tomatoes, potatoes and herbs.

Brick-Oven Pizza (Brooklyn Style)

Wonderful! I made a sauce with ketsup, mayo, lemon juice and garlic powder to dip them in. I served it with a spicy black beans and rice dish recipe I got from a friend. My husband couldn't get enough.
