Clare's Whole Wheat Potato Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This is the best (and easiest) homemade bread recipe! My nine year old loves to help me make it. It slices up nicely for sandwiches or to just eat with butter--yum!

Easy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
This is so easy to make, and so yummy! You may want to double the recipe, as it goes fast! My children, ages 9 and 13, can't get enough of this.

Pot Roast Dips

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
I gave this five stars with one alteration: I used onion and herb Mrs. Dash instead of the onion soup mix. The Mrs. Dash contains no sodium; the onion soup mixed with the au jus has almost 1000 mg of sodium! I used 6 tsp. of Mrs. Dash to equal one packet of soup mix. Very yummy sandwiches!

Honey Peanut Granola

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
This is a great basic granola recipe. I did add some ground flaxseed along with the wheat germ. The add-in possibilities are endless! Store-bought granola is so expensive and usually very high in sugar.

Very tasty! I used half cheddar/half mozzarella and sprinkled some fresh grated romano cheese on top!

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
YUM! Everyone who has tried this has given it rave reviews. To try to make it a little healthier, I made my own whipped cream (without sugar) using whipping cream. There is plenty of sugar in the pudding to make this dip nice and sweet!

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2007
This is GREAT! My entire family raved about it. I used the marinade for boneless chicken thighs.

Million Dollar Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
This is a wonderful recipe; it makes a very creamy fudge. I used a 9 x 13 pan. I also used the same recipe for peanut butter fudge by substituting one bag of peanut butter chips and one cup of peanut butter for all of the chocolate!

Quick Coffee Cake

Reviewed: May 15, 2003
this was a very quick and easy cake, but I made some changes as suggested by others. The batter was extrememly thick, so I did add a little more milk which should have added to the moistness. Also, I put the melted butter on top of the crumbs, instead of on top of the cake. This also helped so it wasn't so dry. I would make this again!

Best White Icing Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2003
I have been searching for a great icing recipe, and this one is awesome! I made it twice with half crisco/half butter and it turned out well. The third time I used ALL butter; I prefer butter over crisco. If you don't need it to be bright white, this works just as well and gives it a nice, buttery taste!

Heavenly Chipped Chocolate and Hazelnut Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2002
This was SO impressive and SO delicious! I made it for a New Year's Eve dinner and everyone thought it was store-bought. It was very easy to make--even easier if you have a food processor to chop the ingredients for the crust.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2002
These muffins were very tasty and easy to make. I halved the amount of oil, though and used half applesauce. They were very moist!

Pumpkin Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2001
These are wonderfully tasty! I made them as mini-muffins and the recipe made about 100. I used half oil and half applesauce, and they turned out well.
