I made the following modifications: cut up the chicken breasts, used chicken broth instead of water, used half an onion instead of a whole, added frozen mixed veggies and only used 1 can of biscuits. I was confused about how much water (chicken stock) to use so I added enough to fill the crockpot to within 1 inch from the top. I think that was too much because it was very runny. I ended up adding a lot of cornstarch and water to thicken the broth before adding the biscuits. I could also tell it was too much water because after the biscuits cooked, they expanded all the way to the top of the lid. But this recipe turned out really good and my family enjoyed it. The chicken was very tender and juicy. I will make this again. Thanks for the recipe!
