Homemade Chewy Granola Bars

Love these! I also added ground flaxseed, a 1/4cup coconut and used chopped dried apricot. I think you could add just about anything to these! Next time will try to replace the corn syrup with honey. Had to bake for 20 min, next time will try 25 for a little more browning. They held together really well!

Fluffy Pancakes

I used balsamic vinegar(since that was all I had) and it worked perfectly! Also replaced 1/2 the sugar and all the butter with a ripe banana and it gave it wonderful flavor. I will make these again and again! Thanks!

Peanut Butter Pie VIII

Fantastic Recipe. Just like other reviewers this pie is just like one we used to get at our home cookin restaurant. The restaurant has since closed so my Mother was super excited to taste this pie! The only thing I omitted was the cream of tartar in the merange since it really doesnt need it. Thanks!

Gramma Brown's Corn Chowder

I used half/half instead of milk and doubled the corn and creamed corn. I omited the carrots since I had never seen a corn chowder with carrots, instead I added 2 more potatoes. And ditto what the other reviewer said about adding the bacon as a garnish before serving. It turned out wonderful! I almost doubled the recipe but didnt as this made a huge pot of soup!

Greek Lemon Chicken Soup

This soup was a huge hit at our friend's yearly Greek party. His family is Greek, he had me add a total of about 12 lemons, he said "you just cant have too much lemon!" The key to making it creamy is at the end. You put the hot broth into a food processor or blender and turn it on. Add the egg/lemon juice mixture in a slow stream to the broth and keep blending for a few minutes until it is frothy. You would never guess there is egg in the finished product. I LOVE this soup!
