Took this to a potluck and it was a hit. Had a little trouble spreading into pan, would recommend a little smaller tube pan.

Good, but I wouldn't recommend "dumping" all the ingredients in. Still a good idea to mix wet, then add dry.

Pretty good. To avoid the dryness, don't bake quite so long. Would be good with an icing (caramel or cream cheese) to balance the spice.

Mesquite Smoked Jerky

This was my first attempt at jerky and the family really liked it. I would suggest using garlic powder though instead of minced garlic. The minced leaves little clumps of garlic on your meat.

Great recipe! Thanks for submitting. I was looking for ginger recipes to help w/ morning sickness and this one worked well. High altitude bakers will need to adjust flour and soda. These are very soft.
