Grandma's Secret Pie Crust

I've used this recipe for over 40 years with only a few minor changes. #1 I only use lard for pie crusts and Vodka for the ice water. Always flakey and perfect. The vodka cooks out with baking and leaves the best crust.

Soft Sugar Cookies III

My daughter wanted a soft sugar cookie for her daughter's class. I found these and tried them. We all taste tested them and loved them. These cookies are now a regular treat. We frost them with chocolate icing most of the time. My grand daughter calls them "cup cake tops". I'm baking them today for a church bake sale tomorrow. The only thing I do differently is add 2 tsps of vanilla.
