Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
This is the best caramel corn recipe in the world. The ratings don't lie! Everyone loves it at Bunco and at parties. For a twist I melt some semi sweet chocolate chips, between 3/4 of a cup to 1 1/2 cups, depending on how much popcorn I want to cover, and toss some of the the baked, COOLED caramel corn with the chocolate until evenly covered. Spread out on a covered tray to cool. I store the chocolate covered corn in a seperate zip lock and then mix in with the plain caramel corn when I am ready to serve it. I like half chocolate covered and half plain but I love chocolate. A ratio of 1/4 chocolate to 3/4 plain is similar to Harry & David's Moose Mix but it tastes even better.

Oklahoma Cheese Grits

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
This recipe is our family's favorite cheese grits recipe. Fluffy and wonderful! Only use 1/2 tsp of salt though. Last year we (30 of us) did a side by side comparison at Easter with the original recipe and a reduced fat version. I used this recipe and made it with half the amount of butter and light processed cheese and everyone liked the lower fat version better than the original. Just an option. It is also wonderful made with grated sharp cheddar cheese instead of the processed cheese. Great recipe Mollie!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2006
Sticky and way too sweet. I have always used the Creamy Rice Pudding from Erica G on this site that is amazing but thought I would try this one. It had a terrible texture like paste and was way too sweet.
