Excellent recipe! I made it just as it's written and I didn't think it made too much topping. You can control that anyway since you sift it on the cake at the end. The flavor reminded me of a homemade powdered sugar doughnut. You can tell this is an old-time recipe. Definitely a keeper for me!

Excellent!! I'm so glad for the reviews. I wouldn't have tried this without them. Everyone was right! I used cream of mushroom and added some shredded carrot, otherwise did exactly as recipe said. You won't be disappointed!

Beefy Spanish Rice

I made this with ketchup as listed and again with only 1/4 cup ketchup. It's definitely better with less ketchup. We really enjoyed it.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Great recipe! After reading other reviews, I used only 2 tbps of brown sugar. I also used bread crumbs instead of bread. I made extra sauce to pour over. This will replace my old recipe. Thanks!

Spicy Sausage and Rice Casserole

Great flavor - but way too much pepper! Not sure if I made a mistake and put too much in. Will definitely make again, but with less pepper. Also could have used smaller amount of sausage. I think this would also be good with ground beef. I'll definitely make this again!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

WOW!! A real keeper! I added canned mushrooms, salt and pepper. At the end I added the cream cheese (3 oz) first and then added about a 1/4 cup of sour cream. I think the combo of the cream cheese and sour cream is perfect.

Creamy Orange Cake

Great recipe! I used yellow cake mix and 1 tsp orange extract and it was even better the second day. I will definitely make again. A great frosting recipe for a all sorts of recipes. Any flavoring could be added instead of the orange.
