About this Cook
I am a disabled homemaker, mom, wife. My son is in college in MA, my husband is a welder. I have always loved to cook and bake- I learned from my both my parents and my grandfather. My husband is from India so I cook mostly Indian cuisine. My cooking and baking is always asked for and raved about.
My favorite things to cook
fried chicken and mashed potatoes with country gravy meatloaf chocolate chip cookies shepherds pie cheesecake and much much more...
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am in the process of making new family traditions.
My cooking triumphs
Learning how to cook Indian cuisine. It is not as easy as it looks on certain recipes.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I ever made Kraft mac n cheese I didn't know you were suppose to drain the pasta so it ended up being a mac n cheese soup. I still laugh whenever I think of that day.

Campbell's Kitchen Tuna Noodle Casserole
I have been using this recipe for many years. I always make a double batch so my husband can take some for his lunch the next day- he absolutely loves it!! I don't use pimento's and I always add top it with grated cheddar cheese before topping it with the bread crumbs. Always a family favorite and it makes a great potluck dish.

Indian Dahl with Spinach
I made this tonight for my husband who is from Mumbai. It turned out beautifully delicious. My husband loved it; said it reminded him of home. I plan on making this again and again. It goes great with naan. Thank you for giving us this recipe.

Naan
This is the best naan recipe I have ever used. My husband is from India so I am always trying to cook recipes to take him back home. When he tasted this he said that it reminded him of home so thank you very much for this recipe. I plan on using this recipe continuously. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
