Nanny's Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
Very easy and good with just these ingredients. I did add onions and Italian Sausage to the sauce. It was the perfect consistency not to thin and not too thick. The aroma is great and had everyone coming to the kitchen to see what was cooking.

Good recipe. Not a big bean fan but good for those who are. Good with salsa and sour cream.

Maple Salmon

It was good. My kids loved it. I just wish I would have got the sauce to be a little thicker but the taste was great. A good easy dinner.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
Made this recipe for my son's birthday party and it was a hit. I made the meatballs a few days before and cooked the sauce on the stove the day of the party. I added it to the crockpot with meatballs and it was great. Will be making again and again!

Butter Cream Frosting II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
Easy recipe to follow. I made it with butter instead of magarine because I wanted a stiffer frosting for decorating and it worked. Will definitely make again.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
This recipe makes alot of macaroni and cheese. I followed the recipe exactly and got good results. I do think I will add some extra spices next time. My family enjoyed it and I will definitely make it again maybe with some monterey jack cheese added.

Chai Tea Mix

Tastes just as good as the store down the street that sells Chai Tea mixes. I followed the recipe to the T and I wouldn't change a thing.

Good basic recipe. I added a little oregano because it seemed a little bland.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2004
I made this last year for Thanksgiving in a crockpot since my oven was taken up with the turkey. I just turned the crock pot on high and everything cooked fine. Followed the ingredients exactly and family members were impressed. The cheese didn't brown but that was ok. Will be making again this year. YUM!

Breakfast Pies

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2004
Great, easy recipe I made with things already in my fridge. Next time I will have to make more because they were all eaten before I knew it. Don't be aftaid to pile up the sausage. (The more the better.) I used just plain cheddar and that was good too. You could probably use what ever cheese you prefer.

Bread Machine Calzone

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2003
You definitely want to add a little more flour than the recipe calls for. We made individual Calzones and they all turned out great! The kids had fun making their own. Just make sure not to overcook. We added some green peppers, onion, mushrooms, italian sausage, pepperoni, and my husband even added jalapenos. You can put in what ever you want. Next time I'm trying chicken and broccoli.

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2003
Great Recipe. It's so easy! You definitely need to double the recipe if you want to feed more than 3 people. I used 1/2 teaspoon ground clove and 1 garlic clove minced. I also used a food mill and I had no problems. I will definitely use this over and over again. Forget buying store bought Tomato Soup!!

Banana Bread - Quick Bread for Machines

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2003
Good recipe. My bread machine wouldn't cook it all the way through the first time so I had to use 2 cycles and it still didn't come out fully cooked. It was my machine that was the problem.

Great recipe! It was super easy. Just add extra butter to the graham crackers if they seem too dry and don't want to stick.
