Italian Mini Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2014
Wowzer! Really good, easy, delicious. Only did one thing differently. I used hot italian sausage (I love spicy). I also only used 1/2 the cheese at the end. This will replace all other meatloaf recipes in my repertoire.

Cajun Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2014
Excellent. I used a 2 1/2 lb roast but left the other ingredient amounts the same with the exception of 1/2 teaspoon of crushed rosemary. I also added 1 zuchinni & 1 yellow squash to the veggies. The roast was very flavorful. Will definitely make again.

Quick and Easy Mexican Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2014
This is an easy, quick, delicious recipe to put together. I was at a loss for what to have for dinner. I always have chicken in the freezer, so I came to Alrecipes.com and picked this one since I had everything I needed in the pantry. I used 2 breasts and 2 thighs, chunky salsa and sharp cheddar cheese. As for the "pinch" for the seasonings, I used my regular rule of thumb, sprinkle til it seems right. Served with black beand and spanish rice. Excellent.

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
These muffins are so light & moist, and just plain perfect. I've made zuchinni bread but never muffins. I will not be making zuchinni bread again.

Enchiladas Suizas

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
Excellent! I followed the recipe as written using pulled pork, except I didn't add the cream. It was easy, the salsa verde was perfect for my son who liked spicy but not too hot. To me, it was perfect. Thanks for this perfect enchilada recipe. Will definately make again using chicken.

Dale's Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2013
Dale, I can't thank you enough for this recipe. The pork, I used country style pork ribs, came out perfectly. The meat was very moist and best of all the recipe is so easy. Will use in tacos, tamales and barbeque pork sandwiches.

Zucchini Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2013
Delicious! I seasoned the chicken breasts with salt pepper & garlic powder before stuffing and added an 8oz can of mushroom pieces when sauteing the onions. I also used mozzarella instead of swiss (what I had in the fridge). The result was fabulous. I will be making this again. Thank you Redteetop for this wonderful addition to my recipe collection.

Southern Dirty Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2013
I am so glad I tried this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and it was totally delicious. Next time I make it I will leave out the gizzards (too much trouble). When I reheated it I drizzled about 1 tsp of oil from a jar of hot giardinara. Wow, just plain delicious. Thank you Kathleen for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Pork Steaks

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2013
Easy, quick, delicious. I didn't change a thing. Tried it again the next day with boneless skinless chicken breasts. I was surprised that this recipe is better with chicken. Next time I'll try it with bone-in chicken thighs.

Baked Ham with Sweet Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2013
Wow! Who knew perfect baked ham could be so easy? I didn't have a rack, didn't use the pineapples & cherries and still this is by far the best ham I have ever baked. It reminded me of the ham from the famous Honey Baked Ham company in my area. My son says it was the best ever. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderfully easy and delicious recipe.

Baked Parmesan Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2013
I thought this was very good. I used use mayo with the milk, and stirred olive oil into the crumb mixture, but those were the only changes. Next time I will sprinkle filets with a little salt & pepper before the flour. Definitely a keeper.

My Favorite Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2013
Made this last night. I did use fresh onion and garlic and added a dash of chili powder. Rave reviews from husband and son. Not sure if it was the liquid smoke, broth or what, but these are the best sloppy joes, ever. Thanks for sharing

Down Home Chitterlings

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
This is an excellent recipe for chitterlings. They came out perfect. I first brought them to a boil for about 10 minutes and then drained them. With fresh water, just enough to cover, I used one large onion quartered,1 stalk celery coarsely chopped, 1/2 jalapeno chopped and seeded, 2 chicken bouillon cubes(I didn't have any stock)1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt , crushed pepper flakes. I forgot to add the garlic. Simmered for 6 hours. My husband and daughter said the were very good. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Black Magic Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
Really good, chocolatey, moist. I didn't have buttermilk and really didn't want to go buy any so substituted 1 Tbsp vinegar with milk. and that worked out fine. I frosted it with Chocolate Fudge Buttercream frosting from this site. This is my new go-to recipe for chocolate cake. Simply delicious.

Roast Adobo Pork Loin

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2012
I didn't think anything this easy would taste so good. Didn't have Goya Adobo All Purpose seasining w/Pepper,so I substituted regular seasoned salt with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Other than that kept everything else the same. Really good, really quick. I will definately get the Goya seasoning next time and see if it makes a discernable diffence.
