Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
Delicious but I would definitely add more peanut butter next time because you can barely taste it!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
Delicious! I made this for a birthday so I decided to bake it in two 9-inch round pans instead. Following another review, I baked it for about 30 minutes but it was hard to tell when it was done because of the chocolate chips. In the end, I think I should have left it in a little longer. Also, be sure to grease the pans enough! It was my first layer cake so definitely not easy but it ended up being a big hit!

Excellent chewy, rich cookies. I followed another reviewer's advice and lined my cookie sheets with tin foil and reduced the bake time to 10 minutes--perfect!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
Followed the instructions of other reviewers and added an extra half teaspoon of vanilla and took them out right at 8 minutes--perfect! I also sprinkled colored sugar on the top of the dough balls and it came out great.

Crunch Bar

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
Quick and easy snack that everyone loves! As others mentioned, I line the cookie sheet with tin foil and that always works great. I also increased the sugar and butter to 1.5c but I used a larger pan. Be sure to cover the entire pan with crackers (edge to edge)--I cut them to fit if necessary.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
I doubled the recipe for a full-size dish and it was awesome! For the American cheese, I used a package of slices and that worked well. I also didn't have mustard powder so I used 1 tbs of spicy brown mustard and it added the perfect amount of spiciness! Cooked for just about 25 mins and it was perfect.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
Delicious and easy! I halved the recipe and dumped everything (minus the olive oil) in my crockpot for about six hours. It turned out great. I left out the sour cream but otherwise stuck to the recipe.

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
These are delicious! The only type of candies I could find were ghirardelli dark chocolate with white mint filling but they worked out really well - as someone else said, you only need 18 since you break them in half. The mint flavor was obvious but not at all overpowering. I was making them for Valentine's Day so I added some festive sprinkles, too. I baked them for 9 minutes but think I could have even done 10. It helped to put them in the fridge for at least an hour to let the mint candy/topping fully cool.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2013
So good!! I made some changes following other reviewers' advice: added 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, and 3/4 tsp. cinnamon to the mix and used 1/2 c. white sugar and 1/4 c. brown. For the crumb topping, I increased the cinnamon to 1/4 tsp. and added it to the muffins in the last 5 minutes of baking. I will definitely make these again!

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2013
Delicious and so easy! I used olive oil instead and cut down the balsamic a little at others' suggestions and the flavor was not at all overpowering. Served on toasted whole grain rolls with sliced tomatoes. Will definitely make again!
