About this Cook
Hi, my name is Amy and I have a small raw milk dairy in upper east Tennessee. I love my Jersey girls and look forward to learning how to make some of my favorite cheeses.
My favorite things to cook
Almost anything in a crockpot! Life on a dairy is demanding so the less time I have to spend in the kitchen making healthy meals for my family the better. Hopefully this winter I can spend more time indoors baking. I LOVE to bake.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
This was so easy to make. I made it with Spam. It still turned out great. The only thing I plan to do different is to brown the Spam/ham first. Try this recipe with some cornbread. Great!

Baked Apricot Chicken
I made this today for Rosh Hashana. I made mine with Russian dressing. I used chicken tenders as I would have to be starving to eat thighs. Overall it is an okay recipe. I will probably make this again, esp. if I am in a hurry because it is so easy and fast.

Fabulous Wet Burritos
Oh wow! These were so good! Me and my husband loved them. The seven year didn't but no surprise there. I made a small change or two. I used salsa instead of tomato soup. I made mine up put some of the enchilada mixture in the bottom of a casserole and put the burritos in and then covered the burritos with cheese and more enchilada sauce. I baked them for about 15-20 min. at 350 degrees. Wonderful, wonderful recipe. Try these, you will not be disappointed.
