German Rouladen

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2006
Thank you for this easy to follow and delicious recipe! I do not try to slice the meat at home though, always buy from grocer already sliced thin. Recipe time is accurate but the flank steak it is cut from is not that tender, if I can I let it simmer for up to 2 hours in the oven at 300 F.

Greek Style Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2001
This dish has a long cooking time but the results are worth every minute. We had it at a potluck and it was the first dish to empty. The second time I made it I transferred the potatoes to a cookie sheet and broiled for about 5 minutes. Either way, delicious.

Chocolate Brittle Surprise

Addictive, sweet and crunchy, almost like a store bought bar! I had to watch the cooking process because the crackers browned up fast. Very good.

Peanut Butter Cookies X

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2001
Kid friendly because the ingredients are simple, and the cookies easy to prepare. Of course they ate them all too. Just not as 'peanutty' as regular peanut butter cookies.

Plum Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2001
One of my husband's favorite food. I too added sugar on top of the cake to add sweetness (brown sugar). I don't have to worry about refridgerating this cake, it's gone in a flash!

Thai Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2001
We loved these chicken wings. My first trip to the store I couldn't find fish sauce so I bought oyster sauce. I let it slow cook another hour, they were tender and delicious.

Emily's Famous Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2000
I always wanted to make Sloppy Joe's from scratch, now I can! We're used to having a sloppier sauce so I added a large can of tomatoe sauce, perfect! Buy day old buns to save even more $.
