The Perfect Cinnamon Roll Icing

Amazing! Love the little less cream cheese taste. The recipe is definitely only enough for 12 rolls. Double the batch for 2 doz.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

This was a good cookie. With fabulous flavor. I just wish it had fluffed up some. I did 1 tsp baking soda & 1 tsp baking poweder. I added @ 1/4 tsp apple pie spice. Soaking the raisins was absolutely brilliant! I will bake again.

Butternut Squash Bisque

This soup is out of this world! I was suprised by all the super ratings and thought I'd give it a whirl. I added just a touch of nutmeg, which was perfectly suitable. I also added about 5 or 6 cups of squash because I had cooked it and didn't want it to go to waste. This made the soup a terrific texture and consistency. I would recommend adding more squash each time because of this. I ended up using half and half and it was superb! Truly a TEN star soup!!!

TEN stars! I love this recipe. Don't need to double spices unless you want to. Baking time was dead on, and my dough was not runny or oily. No need to set it in the fridge. Totally great!

Potato Cheese Soup

This was a fabulous soup with such a creamy texture. I added evaporated milk instead of regular milk. Did not add cornstarch. I doubled the amount of carrots and celery called for because I love soups loaded with veggies. Do not add salt unless you don't truly care about heart health. I will keep this recipe as a "most loved" soup! The kids gobbled it all up!

Black Bean Vegetable Soup

This was one delicious soup. I found the recipe and simply love black beans to death so it grabbed my attention. I did add celery and zucchini and pureed an extra can of black beans as well as one can of kidney beans. The texture was excellent and my young kids who will hardly eat anything asked for seconds! We also added a dot of sour cream to each serving and the soup was even better! I made this again tonight to take to a friend that just had her baby and she called to ask for the recipe moments ago. I will definitely make this again and again this winter! 5 shining stars!
