Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
New French bread recipe! My husband made this and was his first time making bread, it turned out GREAT! Was alittle dense but that can be due to cooks error! Took the other loaf to work and was asked were I bought the fantastic French bread at! Thank you for a great recipe!

Amaretto Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I am sorry but this did not work for me or my family. I LOVE amaretto and thought this would be great, but it did not mesh well. The chicken was very moist and tasted great but as soon as you put the gravy on, it destroys this dish!

Buffy's Refried Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Huge hit! I only gave a 4 star due to minor tweeks. Instead of water I used chicken stock, chopped garlic..about 4 cloves, and 1/2 to 1 tsp of cumin. I also cooked up half a tube of churizo and added half the beans into that when they were done..very good! FYI a potato masher is a dream come true when mashing the beans!

Churros II

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
These were GREAT! I followed the advice to cut down to 2 eggs and added vanilla! Was a huge hit! I doubled the suger and cinnimon and added into a bowl and my 4 year old would coat them while i fried them! I read some review's where it says is alot of work and trouble,I disagree completely. We will be doing this again!

Saucy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
Really easy fast dinner. Everyone liked the dish. I did use chicken stock instead of water, also while the pork rested I put the sauce back into the frying pan and added cornstarch to thicken it up..I will make again!

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
This can be alittle tricky, You really need to have the stove on med-high to high heat and only for a few seconds per side. If you have it at a lower heat setting they will turn out dry stiff and brittle!
