This is a fantastic recipe and what I especially like about it is that you can generate endless variations from it. Regardless of whether you go with the original decadent version or prefer a more healthy approach, exchange the protein or vary the veggie, you won't go wrong. One small note, if you should need to thicken the sauce at the end, wait to add the shrimp so as not to overcook it. This prevents the shrimp from becoming hard and rubbery.
