Easy Omelet in a Bag

Reviewed: May 19, 2013
We make these quite often while camping. You can modify it with different ingredients i.e. cooked ham, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, different cheeses, etc. The kids love putting these together. We use freezer bags (thicker) and mark the name of who's omelet it is on the top of the bag with black permanent marker.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2003
Great recipe!!! I sauteed chopped green onions, fresh mushrooms, and garlic with the butter. I also used Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup, Chicken broth, and also included the white wine...Yummm!!! I used Fat Free Dry Hidden Valley Italian dressing mix, and it wasn't salty at all. I cut my chicken into strips, and made everything right on the stove top which reduces the time. I think some green and red peppers would make it even better, and maybe a pinch of cayenne pepper for some kick...Angel hair pasta goes great!!! I made 1/2 lb. pasta with 4 chicken breats and there was plenty of sauce. My family loved this recipe!!! Thanks!!!

Greek Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: May 28, 2003
Wonderful pasta salad!! I also added some marinated artichoke hearts, used red onion instead of green, used both pepporoni and salami, 1/2 red wine vineagar and 1/2 balsamic vineagar. We took this camping Memorial weekend, and it was excellent! The longer it marinates, the better it gets! Thanks for sharing!!!

Very quick and easy stromboli recipe!! It is really good, too!!! I used mild sausage in place of the hamburger. I only put the peppers & onions on one half, since my son doesn't like them. I also used 4 different cheeses. Thanks for sharing this recipe, I will make it again!!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2003
I made this for some guests. Everyone, including my 15 year old, loved it!!! Things that I changed...marinated the chicken in worcheshire sauce, sauteed the mushrooms in the bacon grease (added some garlic). I also used green onions instead of dried, and put some on the top, too. I omitted the karo syrup as well, tasting it before I added, and it was plenty sweet the way it was. I also used Maille's horseradish mustard. Excellent! I served this with Garlic Mashed potatoes secret recipe and Great Garlic bread, both from this site. Thanks for sharing!!!
